MIKE IS ALSO A LEADER IN LANCE ARMSTRONG FOUNDATION’S LIVESTRONG LEADER PROGRAM. MIKE SAYS HIS REASONS FOR BEING INVOLVED IN THAT IS LESS BECAUSE OF BEING A FAN OF LANCE, BUT, “BECAUSE ALL OF LIFE IS ABOUT OVERCOMING GREAT CHALLENGES,” HE SAYS. “BECAUSE LANCE OVERCAME CANCER TO BECOME THE TOUR DE FRANCE CHAMPION FOR 7 STRAIGHT YEARS, LIVESTRONG GIVES THE 28 MILLION CANCER SURVIVORS A SYMBOL OF STRENGTH AND UNITY.”
